Frequently Asked Questions

What's included in the rental price?

Your rental includes the bike, a helmet and basic insurance cover. We make sure every bike is road-legal and properly registered, so you’re not going to run into any nasty surprises. If you have specific questions about what the insurance covers, just ask us as we’d rather you fully understand what you’re getting than find out later there’s been a misunderstanding.

What happens if the bike breaks down?

Give us a call and we’ll sort it out. Mechanical issues are rare because we keep our fleet well-maintained, but if something does go wrong through no fault of your own, we’ll do our best to get you a replacement bike as quickly as possible. That’s the advantage of renting locally we’re just around the corner.

Can I take the bike outside of Pattaya?

Yes, you’re welcome to explore further afield although just let us know your plans when you book so we can make sure you’ve got the right bike for the distance and advise you on anything worth knowing before you go.

Is it better to rent by the day, week or month?

It really depends on how long you’re staying. If you’re here for a few days, the daily rate works fine. But the longer you rent, the better value you get as our monthly rates work out significantly cheaper per day than renting day by day. If you’re staying for a month or more, our 3 month and 6 month packages offer the best savings of all. Many of our long term expat customers swear by the multi-month deals.

What if I want to swap to a different bike partway through my rental?

Just come and talk to us. We’re flexible and we want you to be happy with your choice. If you started on a smaller scooter and decide you’d prefer something with a bit more power for a longer trip, we’ll see what we can do to accommodate you.

Are the bikes automatic or manual?

All of the bikes in our rental fleet are automatic scooters, which makes them ideal for riders of all experience levels. You don’t need to worry about gears, just twist and go. This is particularly handy if you’re not used to riding in Thai traffic, where being able to focus on the road rather than the gearbox is definitely a bonus.
